Bermuda grass can sometimes be prone to a disease called Spring Dead Spot. The tricky part with this particular disease is the fungus causing the damage is active in the fall as soil temps drop below 65 degrees and the grass goes dormant. Damage is not seen until the following spring during green up. Preventative fungicides can help suppress this issue to minimize severe damage. Another fungal issue to watch out for is Brown Patch in Fescue lawns. It is recommended to have up to 3 summer applications of a preventative fungicide on fescue.

If you have evergreens like arborvitaes, be on the lookout for bagworms! These invasive insects can decimate an evergreen in a matter of days if left unattended.
