Aeration Services
Core Aeration for Warm Season Lawns
Aerating your lawn is nothing shy of beneficial. This process is designed to help alleviate compaction in your lawn, while allowing air flow, water, and nutrient penetration within the root zone. We use core aerators which pull small “plugs” out of the lawn which are laid back on top of the grass. It is a good idea to mow your lawn a little shorter than normal before aerating since it will be best to skip mowing for a week or until the plugs can dissolve back into your lawn. This service is offered for Bermuda and Zoysia lawns.
Aeration & Over-Seeding for Fescue Lawns
Since Northwest Arkansas is in a transition zone, we are able to grow Fescue which is a cool season grass. However, Fescue will struggle during our hot summer months, even with the correct mowing, irrigation, weed control and fertilization schedule. Therefore, it is recommended that Fescue is aerated and over-seeded every year in the fall to help fill in thin and bare areas. We use a blend of different varieties that have been tested and proven to grow in our region.
