Frequently Asked Questions
Do I own the lights?
Yes, you own the lights after the third year of service. The yearly price includes things like our labor, over-head, warranty work, etc.
Will you hang my lights that I already have?
No. We only install lights that we provide. Our install process is all based on uniformity of supplies. Therefore, we only hang lights that are purchased through us.
Do you store the lights for me?
Yes. We will store the lights for you, and we actually prefer to do this for several reasons. Storage is included with the price.
What areas of my home can you install lights on?
The most common areas are the perimeter of the house, dormers, ridgelines, garage outlines, windows, landscape beds, walkways and driveways. We can also install 3'-5’ wreaths with red ribbons as space allows. Fences and trees are another big request and can also be done as well. Since trees can take longer than doing house lights, it is best to get an early spot on our schedule if doing those options!
What are the payment options?
We understand budgeting around the holidays. Therefore, we offer 3–6-month Budget Billing! We give you the option to pay everything up front, or you can split the amount into monthly payments (this option requires putting a credit/debit card on file that is charged around the first of the month).
Do you guys have insurance?
Yes, we have commercial liability insurance and can provide our COI upon request.
What all colors do you offer, and can I change my bulb color each year?
There is a selection of colors that we offer which can be found on the House and Ground Lights page. If you would like to change the color of your lights, we are happy to do so but please be aware there is a one-time charge for the new bulbs every time we have to change the color or pattern. The total price to do this will depend on the number of bulbs needed.
What does the warranty work include?
Warranty work will cover things such as burnt-out bulbs and lights falling down from the weather. Physical damage caused by any person other than Elevate Lighting is not covered under warranty. The total cost to fix physical damage is based on amount of supplies needed to correct the issues. For this reason, we ask that you please do not try to adjust your lights on your own but rather give us a call so we can figure out what needs to be corrected or fixed.
Is my roof too steep to hang lights?
On rare occasions, we will come across a roof that may be too steep for us to climb. However, we are equipped with roofing boots, pads, pants and ladders that allow us to access most areas on roofs. Hanging Christmas lights on homes in Northwest Arkansas can be dangerous if you are not properly equipped. This is why you should call the professionals to do these types of installs for you. Please don’t risk your safety and leave this task up to us!
If I move locally, can the lights be installed on my new home?
Every year, we will have customers move. If you have moved locally, we are happy to do a new installation at your new home, but we no longer offer re-fits. Since lights are custom fit to each home, we figured out it saves time and money for us and the customer to do a new install instead of refitting old lights to new homes.
How soon can you get my lights installed?
From the first part of November until around Thanksgiving is the busiest part of our schedule. If you call us during that time for a new installation, it may be 1-2 weeks before we are able to get your lights done. We begin scheduling our returning customers installations around the middle of September and begin installing during the first week of October.
